A map of my creative ancestors.
Themap weaves together fragments from all the classes of Provoking Type that was led by Schessa Garbutt; creating a constellation of voices and {ideas} visualized into one astrological map. I was deeply inspired by Arabic mysticism, visualizations on time, and astrological maps that I found in various archives, specifically the كتاب غرائب الفنون وملح العيون (The Book of Curiosities) and كتاب صور الكواكب (The Book of Fixed Stars). The stars & moon are my kin, they hold knowledge, and remind me of the abundant tender life I have.
